LHRC's Active Participation in CSO Week 2023

Legal and Human Rights Centre (LHRC) was an active and significant participant in CSO Week 2023, held from October 23rd to October 27th, 2023, at the prestigious Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC).

This event marked an important convergence of non-governmental organizations and development stakeholders, contributing to the dynamic discourse surrounding civil society engagement. The team representing LHRC included distinguished members, such as Dr. Anna Henga, the Executive Director, and Advocate Fulgence Massawe, Director of Advocacy and Reforms. Additionally, a contingent of Program Officers from LHRC joined in, further emphasizing the organization's commitment to the event's objectives.

The theme for CSO Week 2023, "Tech x Society: Then, Now, and Beyond," underscored the pivotal role technology plays in shaping our society, both historically and in the contemporary context. During this event, LHRC unveiled a groundbreaking report on femicide, shedding light on the critical issue of violence against women.
