Anabahati J. Mlay
Ms. Anabahati J. Mlay is a member of the Impact Makers Advisory Board (IMAB) at Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) since February 2024, and the Board Chairperson of Okoa New Generation (ONG) NGO since 2021. She is also a member of the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) Policy Working Group (PWG) on Gender and Diversity since 2020 and a member of the African Women Leaders Network (AWLN). Ms. Anabahati is a member of the UN Women Civil Society Advisory Group (CSAG) since 2019 and was named one of the 100 Tanzanian Sheroes in 2019. She is a founding member of the Visionary Women’s Group since 2019 and a member of the Tanzania Women Food Processors Association (TAFOPA) Steering Committee for Women Involvement in Cashew Processing. Anabahati is a lawyer whose journey has transformed her into an expert in leadership, gender, and social justice, with more than nine years of experience working in the corporate world in various capacities. She is known for her ability to influence with integrity, promote gender equality in the workplace, mastery of corporate communications and branding, people skills, and empathetic leadership. Anabahati volunteers and serves on advisory boards and committees of different organizations that advocate for social justice and development.
