LHRC was founded by lecturers of the then University of Dar es Salaam’s faculty of Law. Prof.Costa Mahalu,Dr.Ringo Tenga, Dr. Sengodo Mvungi(the late), Dr.Harrison Mwakyembe and Dr.Wilbert Kapinga
