Legal and Human Rights Center (LHRC) conducted a 2 days session with Mtwara Women councillors.
The ongoing session in Newala aims at reflecting on the 2021 empowernment and capacity building session. The session was on effective representation,LGA Loans, Girls right to education,gender sensitive by laws and Leadership.
The session also aims to assess the impact and progress of the developed actions plans during the 2021 session and the women councillors voice to amplify women and girls agendas.
Women councillors from Mtwara Municipal, Masasi DC, Masasi TC,Nanyumbu DC,Newala DC and Tandahimba DC are participating in this session
